One Response to “Photos of John G Bennett (Elizabeth B., Pierre E., Manfred B., et al.)”

The pictures of the Horse Parlour theme meeting were taken by Diane Cilento on the First Course. The one where we are all laughing was taken just after Mr B had said: “Now we must all look very serious because we are having our picture taken.” In the shot of Mr B in the white jacket, he is assisting Helen Peech, who was 101 years old at the time. She was the person who introduced Gerald Wilde to Mr B. She had a nice house on the river in Chelsea which was a kind of salon for trendies. That’s actor Peter Bowles walking down behind them.
